My experience with Wink Eye Rejuvenation Cream by Vivant Skin Care

I don’t know about you, but I always have dark circles under my eyes. I’ve always had them, but they’ve gotten worse since having children (shocker). I’ve been given the opportunity to try Wink Eye Rejuvenation Cream by Vivant Skin Care which soften fines lines, brighten dark circles, and reduces puffiness.

Wink Eye Rejuvenation Cream by Vivant Skin Care Review

I don’t typically use a special cream for my eyes but I hate my dark circles so I thought that since I was given this opportunity I would take advantage of it! When I received the bottle it didn’t come with any directions or anything, so I checked the bottle. It just says “Apply daily to eye area,” so that’s what I did. Well, apparently I used way too much because it was all in my bottom eye lashes and took forever to dry. I began to use less and less each day and now I’m only using a very very small amount, a little goes a very long way with this stuff! I was using it daily as the bottle states with no skin irritation.

A couple of days ago I received a large packet in the mail from Vivant Skin Care, I opened the envelope and there was a lot of fliers for their other products but there was also directions for the Wink cream. The directions stated that you should start out using the cream every other day for a week and work your up to using it twice daily as tolerated. I’m still only using it once a week. I have no problem with that but I think that this information should have been sent with the product, if I did have any irritation before I received the packet I would have stopped using it and not tried it again.

I will say though, after using this cream I have noticed a difference with the dark circles. I was a good review blogger and took a before and after picture, but guess what… my phone got all messed up the other day and I had to delete like 300 photos and apparently I was on a roll and deleted the before picture. I’ve found a couple of picture from before and after, unfortunately they’re not great and they’re not just of my eyes, but you get the idea!Wink Eye Rejuvenation Cream

I like that it can be used during the day underneath concealer with SPF. I always use concealer because of the dark circles under my eyes. If I could only choose 2 makeup items to use, it would be eye liner and concealer… I’d make it work LOL.

My Review on Therapeutic Foot Soak by Oleavine Health

My Review on Therapeutic Foot Soak

My feet were very tired and sore last night, as my husband was actually home (YAY)!!! I love having him home, but he always likes to keep me on my toes… not much sitting at the computer for this girl yesterday! I thought that it would be a perfect opportunity to try this Tea Tree Mint Therapeutic  Foot Soak by Olivine Health out, and I was right.

I’m not usually one who takes the time to soak my feet, but I saw this product and it intrigued me. I was able to get this product at a deeply discounted price in exchange for my own unbiased opinion. I love using essential oils and I noticed that this product uses tea tree and mixed mint essential oils. I like that it’s all natural, it’s not always easy to find naturally made health and beauty products without making them yourself. This soak also uses Epsom Salt, MSM, Dead Sea Salt and Himalayan Pink Sea Salt Crystals. To aid in the skin softening process they use Neem Oil, Omegas 6 & 9 and Vitamin E. All of these combined make for a truly wonderful experience. Also because of the salts and essential oils used, this soak is great for defending against foot odor, athlete’s foot, and other common foot and skin irritations and is wonderful for dry achy foot.

Here is my review on the Tea Tree Mint Therapeutic Foot Soak by Oleavine Health

I used 2 tablespoons of the foot soak per package directions. It actually says 2-3 tablespoons, but I went with 2 since it was my first time. I stirred it up in the foot bath using a spoon to activate the essential oils and dissolve the salt… again per package directions. I soaked my feet for about 15 minutes ( I could have gone longer but the water got cold) and when I pulled my feet out they were nice and soft and smelled so good! The bottoms of my big toes are really rough, and my heals are very dry and cracked. When I was finished my feet were nice and soft, and I was easily able to scrape the dead skin off while I gave myself a little mini pedicure… mommy needs to treat herself too sometimes!

I will say that if you are sensitive to menthol then I’m not sure that this would be the right product for you. Once I sat down to put my foot in the water the mint smell was VERY strong, but it didn’t bother me once I sat back, I actually rather enjoyed it. Once I took my foot out and dried them off they had that “cold” feeling from the menthol for close to an hour afterward. It bothered me a little bit at first, but once I started walking around, I realized that my feet didn’t hurt at all and they actually felt really nice and it didn’t bother me anymore.

I was a little let down that when I opened the bag the seal broke, so I can’t reseal the bag anymore. I wasn’t terribly concerned about it though, because that happens all the time, and I have plenty of resealable bags. I just placed it into a quart size resealable bag so that I didn’t have to worry about it losing any potency from it being open.
